I used to go to Passy neighborhood in 16 th arrondissement. Some of my friends lived here. From the station metro Passy, I walked up and was passing the candy shop, the cafés towards my friend’s apartment. Passy is an exclusive area of Paris. I could feel the old parisian ambiance here. It is home to many of the city's wealthiest residents. Old money. Inherited money.

Iron work on both 19th and early 20th century art deco buildings in rue Raynouard, 16 th arrondissement

There’s a covered market in Passy which has a nicely array of fruit, vegetables and especially fresh seafood from Brittany (Bretagne). Some of the best shellfish in the world come from the Brittany Coast around Cancale and also south near Vannes.

Aquaboulevard is the biggest water park in Europe. Located at 4 – 6, rue Louis Armand, 15 th arrondissement, is a huge indoor water park. It has beautiful tropical surroundings, with the air and water inside the complex being kept at 29 degrees Celsius all year.

Spread throughout 7000 m2, it has tennis courts, a complete gym, squash courts, fitness centre. Also there is an outdoor pool and like a beach, a grass area for sunbathing. I found that there are 14 screen cinema complex and no less than seven restaurants and one that overlooks the pool does some fantastic meat dishes, plus there is a sports store and a play area, alsothere are some relaxing Jacuzzi's to enjoy as well.

Aquaboulevard has fantastic water slides. I tried the long water slides then I definitely need to give the Aquaplouf a try at 80 metres, but for a far faster descent down a slide, the Aquaturbo might be just right, but personally a bit extreme for me. I tried a wave machine in one particular pool that was turned on and off at different intervals throughout the day. Many members of the family enjoyed themselves.

The Cité Internationale Universitaire is a huge residential campus, spread over 34 hectares of wooded grounds. Located at 24, Boulevard Jourdan, 14 th arrondissement. The diversity of the residents’ nationalities, languages and faces are all proof that we can live together. When I walked through the campus, my gaze wanders from the arcaded loggias of the Maison d’Italie to the monastery inspired design of the Maison Arménienne, from the pagoda-shaped roofs of the Maison du Japon to the columns and façades reminiscent of Ancient Greece of the Fondation Hellénique.

While each hall of residence houses its own nationals, it must also, for the sake of tolerance and cultural openness, accept at least 30% of its residents from other countries. The Collège Franco-Britannique, for instance, houses 254 people from 59 different countries. The majority of periods of residence are from six months to two years, but a researcher who comes to Paris for a short assignment can also be accommodated at the Cité for a few days.

Night in Rue Daguerre, 14 th arrondissement

Rue Daguerre in 14 th arrondissement ,named for the man who invented photography. I could find in Rue Daguerre all business selling food, spontaneous supermarket without cash registers. It was nice and ancient logics that put all the food shops of a quartier on one street for convenience.

The Parc montsouris is not far from Montparnasse. I love to come to this parc when the autumn come. So romantic and lovely seeing the leaves were falling down. Many kids were having fun, there are playgrounds, ice cream, puppet theater, a train ride through the parc. Main entrances at Avenue Reille and Boulevard Jourdain, 14th arrondissement. Designed under the direction of Haussmann in 19 th century, inspiring an impressive share of writers, poets, and artists.
